*Job Overview* We are seeking an experienced Demolition Supervisor to oversee and manage demolition projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in demolition, as well as the ability to lead a team effectively. This role requires hands-on experience with various tools and techniques used in demolition, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. *Duties* - Supervise and coordinate all demolition activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. - Conduct site assessments to determine the scope of work and develop project plans accordingly. - Manage a team of demolition workers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. - Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools safely, including but not limited to saws, drills, and hammers. - Oversee the safe removal of materials such as roofing, masonry, and electrical components. - Ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with environmental regulations. - Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and welders to facilitate smooth project execution. - Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and any incidents occurring on-site. *Experience* - Proven experience in a supervisory role within the demolition or construction industry is essential. - Strong knowledge of demolition techniques and safety procedures is required. - Familiarity with various tools including power tools, hand tools, and equipment used in demolition work. - Experience in roofing, electrical work, welding, painting, plumbing, carpentry, fabrication, or masonry is highly desirable. - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team while maintaining high standards of work quality. - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
