Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office while providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist chairside, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized environment. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and infection control protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and restorative work.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following strict infection control guidelines.
  • Take X-rays and perform medical imaging as required for patient assessments.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation for each patient visit, ensuring all records are up to date.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and safety standards throughout the practice.

Experience

  • Minimum general dental assisting experience of THREE years
  • Knowledge of infection control practices and procedures is required.
  • Proficiency with intraoral scanning
  • Proficiency in using dental systems for record keeping and appointment management is beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
