We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive team culture where learning and growth are encouraged. We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Level 1 Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a compassionate individual with strong communication skills and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Prepare and organize treatment rooms and instruments
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Take dental X-rays (if certified)
• Provide pre- and post-operative care to patients
• Maintain patient records and charting as directed
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations
• Provide excellent patient care and customer service
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
• Maintain accurate patient records using dental software Tracker .
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional care, including working with pediatric patients and orthodontic cases.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Level 1 Dental Assistant program (Required)
• Valid CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
• X-ray certification is a plus,
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a team-player attitude
• Willingness to learn and grow in a clinical setting
• Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred.
• Proficiency in using dental software systems like Tracker is highly desirable.
• Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
• Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Language : Speaking Chinese language -mandarin/Cantonese - Mandatory

Pay: From $17.20 per hour
