The Dental Assistant works closely with the dentist throughout the workday ensuring an excellent experience start to finish for our patients that is efficient, comfortable, and well managed.

Desired Qualifications:
Dental Assistant Experience

Essential Duties Include:
Complete understanding of infection control in the dental setting
Set Up, Turnover, and End of Day Closure of Treatment Rooms
Comprehensive understanding of commonly performed dental procedures
Side by side assistance to the dentist - suctioning spit, handing over instruments, etc.
Use of computers for documentation of patient encounters
Discuss and answer patient questions regarding dental disease and treatment
Ensuring patient comfort and safety
Sterilization and technical maintenance of dental materials and equipment
Routinely cleaning and maintaining organization of all dental spaces
Ensure compliance with professional standards & regulatory requirements
Working as a team player to ensure each patient receives the best service possible

Candidates should:

Be confident when explaining dental disease and treatment
Enjoy keeping all workspaces clean, tidy, and organized

Range of pay:
Pay is competitive and will start based upon experience.
Pay rate will grow based upon the doctor's confidence in your ability to contribute to the office's production (efficient use of time combined with clinical competence). The more tasks the doctor can trust you to manage independently, the more opportunity for increased pay and advancement.

Successful candidates will have strong potential for advancement

Must be available to start the workday by 7:30 AM
Approximately 32-36 hours per week (Monday-Thursday)
Occasional need for Friday coverage with advanced notice

Benefits include dental and paid time off.
No evenings or weekends.
