Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and personable Dental Assistant with reception experience to join our team. This is a dual-role position requiring both clinical support and front desk responsibilities as a back-up to our existing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Assisting the dentist when needed, Sterilization as well as front desk duties.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take dental X-rays
- Manage patient scheduling and appointment confirmations
- Greet patients and handle check-in/check-out
- Process payments and insurance claims as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (Level II preferred)
- HARP Certified
- Previous dental reception or administrative experience
- Familiarity with dental software, ABELDent
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Friendly, professional demeanor
- Experience with insurance billing
- Knowledge of recall systems and treatment coordination

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
