Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained and improved. This position involves working closely with the dentists and dental nurses to deliver exceptional patient care in a friendly and professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
• Take medical histories and record vital signs as part of the patient assessment process.
• Conduct medical imaging procedures as required, ensuring accurate results for diagnosis.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Assist in the development of treatment plans in collaboration with the dental team.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments performed and any changes in oral health status.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
• Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Skills

• Proficient in medical imaging techniques to assist with diagnostics.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, particularly related to oral health.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about oral hygiene practices.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to manage patient records accurately.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
