Dental Hygienist/Therapist

This full-time Dental Hygienist/Oral Health Therapist role at Glen Innes Dentist Auckland offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing dental practice. As a key member of the dental team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality oral healthcare and promoting optimal dental hygiene to our patients.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting comprehensive dental hygiene assessments and developing individualised treatment plans
• Performing a range of preventive dental hygiene procedures such as professional cleanings, scaling and polishing
• Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and providing advice on diet and lifestyle choices that support dental health
• Collaborating with the dentist to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
• Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and infection control protocols
• What we're looking for
• Registered Dental Hygienist/Oral Health Therapist qualification
• At least 3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally in a general dental or specialist practice
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients
• Excellent clinical and technical skills with a keen eye for detail
• A proactive, patient-centric approach and a commitment to delivering the highest standards of care
• Proficiency in using EXACT dental software
