Dental Insurance Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized candidate who is able to multitask in a fast-paced environment to join our Dental Insurance Department. This is a full-time position responsible for managing dental insurance billing and provider credentialing. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Follow up on dental insurance claims.
• Posting insurance claim payments as needed.
• Resolve claim denials, appeals, and aging accounts.
• Managed provider credentialing and recredentialing with insurance carriers.
• Work with Open Dental, EDS, NEA to ensure accurate claim processing and reimbursement.
• Ability to accurately interpret EOBs and make the appropriate insurance adjustments based on the EOB.
• Communicate with patients and insurance carriers regarding payments.
• Assist managers and Business Associates with Insurance related questions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on DENTAL insurance billing experience is required.
• Experience with Open Dental software is required.
• Please do not apply if you do not meet the minimum experience requirements.
• Experience with DENTAL provider credentialing is preferred but not required. Training can be provided after hire.

Job Type: Full-time
