Summary

As a full-time dental office front desk professional, you will be essential in managing patient interactions and ensuring a smooth workflow within our fast paced office. Your core skills in customer service, appointment scheduling, and clerical tasks will enable you to effectively handle patient inquiries and maintain organized records. With skills in phone systems, basic dental knowledge, and office management, you will facilitate communication and enhance the overall patient experience. Your proficiency in different computer programs and data entry will support the administrative functions of the practice, making you a vital part of our dental team.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting and assist patients with a friendly demeanor
  • Verify and understand insurance benefits
  • Comfortably discuss patients recommended dental treatment
  • Discuss basic billing and collect from patients
  • Manage multi doctor appointment scheduling
  • Handle incoming calls efficiently
  • Maintaining patient records and office documentation.

Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills
  • Comfortable multitasking in a high-speed environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with appointment scheduling and clerical tasks
  • Familiarity with phone systems and phone etiquette
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle data entry tasks
  • Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical setting is preferred
  • Bilingual candidates are a plus

We strive to make sure our office hours create possibilities for all our patients, that's why we are open: M - TH 7am-5pm, and Fri 7am-4pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
