HERE’S WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are a PATIENT focused, family practice looking for an energetic and friendly individual who would like to take advantage of an opportunity for growth and development within the field. Seeking a highly motivated Receptionist/Hygiene Coordinator for our busy, progressive, practice to handle the hygienists’ schedules and work in collaboration with the Dental Receptionist/Restorative Coordinator who takes care of the dentist’s schedule. Candidate must be punctual, hard working, have excellent customer service skills, and be eager to learn. Successful postulant will have an excellent command of the English & French language both written/verbal and have a great attitude. Previous ABELDent experience would be an asset, but the right person can be trained. A good comprehension of dental procedures or the motivation to learn them would be an asset. We require someone who can be a leader and a team player, compassionate, efficient, with specific attention to details and be extremely patient/customer service focused. The applicant should have a good understanding of systems and processes and be willing to be flexible to accommodate our schedule and patients. The contender will be vitally important to helping our practice run smoothly & enable our clinical team to maintain the highest level of dental care to our valued PATIENTS.

· Permanent ~ Full-Time

· Monday to Friday (NO evenings NO weekends)

· Start date: (Training - ASAP) – (September 28th individual start)

· Hours or work: 38-40 hours per week (7:45 AM to 5:15 PM) off every 2nd Friday afternoon.

HERE’S WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

· Act as the first point of contact to patients, particularly through welcoming and hosting in-person, over the telephone, and through text or email, with a view to deliver outstanding customer/patient service

· Schedule patient appointments efficiently: optimize the time and schedules of the hygienists by minimizing gaps between appointments and indicate patient arrival to care providers

· Fill any shot notice change and failed appointments

· Manage the day to day finances by reviewing and processing accounts and receivables

· Sorting and sending mail

· Maintain Calling List Files No-Show, Short Notice List, Short Call List and Cancellation Lists

· 2 week confirmation and 2 day reminder calls / using automated system or telephone call

· Responsible for processing payments and dealing with insurance matters, contacting patients regarding treatment/accounts

· Contribute to a warm and welcoming atmosphere for patients and families that exceeds expectations and leaves a lasting impression

· Build patient relationships through ongoing dialogue and resolving any escalated patient issues promptly

· Input patient information (including insurance information) with high degree of confidentiality, into the practice management software

· Paticipate in team meetings (daily strategy, and monthly team meetings).

Preference Will Be Given To The Following Applicants:

*Billingual (Fench & English)
*ABELDent experience
*Willing and able to complete a working interview
