Overview
We are seeking a motivated and organized Team Lead Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent patient care and possess strong administrative skills. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations.
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office appointment book.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems.
- Process patient information and verify insurance details.
- Assist with billing and payment processing as needed.
- Manage multi-line phone systems to ensure timely communication.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the office.
- Utilize software Paradigm for scheduling and record management (Paradigm training will be provided)
- Ensure compliance with dental terminology standards in all communications.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a dental office is preferred with a Minimum of 3-5 years experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems, specifically Paradigm.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology related to dental practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Experience with front desk operations and administrative duties is essential.
- Mandarin and/or Cantonese and/or Farsi Speaking is an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.50-$29.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
