Dental Receptionist (Dental Insurance Verification Experience Required)**

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a dental office, strong knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing, and excellent customer service skills. This position plays a key role in creating a positive patient experience while ensuring smooth front office operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner

* Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments

* Verify dental insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage

* Process insurance claims, pre-authorizations, and patient payments

* Answer multi-line phone systems and respond to patient inquiries

* Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed

* Coordinate with dental providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow

* Handle billing questions and explain treatment estimates to patients

* Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of patient information

* Perform general administrative and front desk duties

Qualifications

* Minimum 2–3 years of dental receptionist or dental front office experience preferred

* Required experience with dental insurance verification, claims, and billing

* Knowledge of dental terminology and treatment procedures

* Experience with dental practice management software preferred

* Strong communication and customer service skills

* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dental office environment

* Professional appearance and positive attitude

Preferred Skills

* Experience with scheduling software and electronic health records (EHR)

* Strong understanding of PPO, HMO, and Medicaid dental insurance plans

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Bilingual skills are a plus
