Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Rover to join our team. As a Dental Rover, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the dental team in various areas of the dental office. This is a great opportunity for someone with dental experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for providing excellent patient care.

Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring they are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment following infection control protocols
- Taking dental x-rays as directed by the dentist
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes

- Eventually working up to assist with chairside procedures, including but not limited to dental cleanings, fillings, and extractions
- Provide education to patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
- Assist with front office duties such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and processing payments
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient experiences

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a dental office or similar healthcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical coding, medical records management, HIPAA regulations, and medical terminology
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
