Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers, and maintaining accurate medical records. This position requires strong organizational skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and experience with various electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Duties

  • Coordinate patient treatment plans and schedules, ensuring timely follow-ups and appointments.
  • Manage dental billing and coding processes, including CPT coding, ICD-9, and ICD-10.
  • Conduct insurance verification and assist patients with understanding their benefits.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive patient information.
  • Review documentation for accuracy and completeness in patient records.
  • Provide exceptional patient service through effective communication and phone etiquette.
  • Knowledge in Dentrix for managing patient data.
  • Assist with clerical tasks including filing, typing (10 key typing), and general office management duties.
  • Support the front desk operations by scheduling appointments and managing multi-line phone systems.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care and support.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with dental administrative support functions including dental records management and front desk operations.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology is a plus for candidates applying to dental practices.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance patient communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required; strong computer skills are essential for this role.
