Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Department Supervisor who will specialise in visual merchandising within our Galeries store team. As a Department Supervisor – Visual Merchandising, you will play a crucial role in curating calm, functional and aesthetically pleasing store spaces that reflect MUJI’s philosophy of simplicity, quality and sustainability. Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

Collaborating with key stakeholders to implement store layout, promotions and seasonal changes.
Consistently upholding visual merchandising standards to the highest degree of accuracy.
Contributing to an exceptional brand experience by coaching team members and offering ongoing support.
Proactively identifying inventory concerns that may hinder upcoming visual merchandising plans.
Contributing to creating a positive working environment through effective communication and teamwork.
Efficiently utilising our point-of-sale system to process sales transactions accurately.
Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and health & safety regulations.

Skills and Experiences:
Experience in executing visual merchandising strategies to deliver an exceptional brand experience.
Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a fast-paced retail environment.
Leadership experience with an ability to effectively coach and support team members.
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with diverse customers and motivate team members.
Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage high volumes of stock.
Ability to work effectively within a team while also being able to independently manage tasks.
A positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn about our products and share knowledge with customers.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including deliveries, late night trade, weekends and public holidays.
