At MUJI, we are about more than just products. We empower our customers to live more simply, sustainably, and mindfully. When you join us, we will equip you with the training and mentorship you need to lead your department with confidence and purpose.

As a Department Supervisor, your core responsibilities will be to:

  • Guide and support the team on the shop floor to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Work closely with your team and leaders to create a positive and productive work environment

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels for smooth functioning of the store
  • Contribute to creating a positive working environment through effective communication and teamwork
We are seeking motivated individuals who:

  • Are aspiring leaders with a genuine interest in developing your leadership and people skills
  • Show high potential by embodying MUJI’s values, and proactively contributing to the success of your team and the wider company
  • Are flexible and available to support the team across various shifts, including weekends and busy periods
What's in it for you?

  • Receive regular mentorship, coaching, and structured training to build your skills
  • Open doors to future leadership roles such as Assistant Store Manager, Store Manager or Store Support Service roles
  • Help shape MUJI’s future by influencing culture and sharing your ideas for improvement
  • The chance to grow your professional profile within a global brand
If you are ready to grow your career with a brand that values mindfulness and simplicity, we want to hear from you!

Important Note: Your primary place of work during your initial training period will be MUJI Chadstone for approximately 4 months. Following successful completion of training, your ongoing primary place of work will be either Chadstone, Emporium, or Knox (your preferred location indicated in application). You may be required to work at other MUJI locations to support the business; however, this will always be discussed with you in consultation before any changes are made.
