We are hiring Department Supervisors for our Stores in Sydney (Galeries and Chatswood Concourse) and Melbourne (Emporium, Chadstone, Highpoint and Knox)!

Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, thoughtful service that helps customers find what they need and discover what they love
  • Guide and support the team on the shop floor to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Work closely with your team and leaders to create a positive and productive work environment
  • Create beautiful functional spaces and promote visual merchandising aligned with MUJIs simplicity and minimalist ethos
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels for smooth functioning of the store
  • Contribute to creating a positive working environment through effective communication and teamwork
  • Efficiently use our point-of-sale system to process sales transactions, refunds and exchanges accurately
  • Follow safety and operational procedures to keep a safe working environment for all

What You Bring:
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a fast-paced retail environment is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills, positive can-do attitude and genuine love for learning
  • A curious mind, adaptable and takes initiative
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers and motivate team members
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage high volumes of stock
  • Ability to work effectively within a team while also being able to independently manage tasks
  • Flexibility to work at other locations in future based on business needs
