Your role

Do you know AIFMD & UCITS V regulations? Do you know how to solve problems and increase efficiencies?

You demonstrate a strong expertise in depositary business and the funds industry more broadly and you are used to senior management exposure in a fast moving banking environment.

We're looking for Depositary Supervision Specialist to:

  • monitor and reconcile cash that flows in and out of the investment accounts and ward for significances and inconsistencies
  • perform safekeeping duties to review, analyse, verify and document the assets that are owned by the standard and alternative investment fund.
  • support implementation and automation in our depositary bank tools ( SQL, Macros is a strong asset)
  • work with internal & external parties to resolve queries, escalate issues and handle audit requests
  • keep up to date with related business, technical and regulatory developments.
  • analytical and able to articulate issues, formulate and present recommendations

Your team

You’ll be working in the Depositary Bank Supervision Management of UBS Europe SE, Luxembourg Branch.
We are responsible for all regulatory controls under UCITS and AIFMD. We are a very diverse and dynamic team that applies a high degree of collaboration within the daily work life. Together and only as a TEAM we pass all obstacles and projects within the frequently changing regulatory environment.

Your expertise

  • university or professional degree Business, Economics, Finance or Law
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in the fund industry; experience in a depositary service, fund management or audit firm will be considered as an asset
  • good knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to funds and depositary duties
  • strong analytical, communication and organization skills
  • experience with complex fund structures
  • fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Any other languages would be considered as an advantage
