Do you know AIFMD & UCITS regulations? Do you want to help growing our franchise and clients?

You demonstrate a strong expertise in the Depositary business and, more broadly, the funds industry and you are used to senior management exposure in a fast moving banking environment.

We’re looking for someone who can:

• lead, support and develop a large Depositary team
• ensure that the Depositary operates in full compliance with the applicable rules and regulations and apply the latest industry market standards
• lead projects, including client integration, service delivery and sales support
• overseeing the planning and coordination of team activities; which includes timely completion of checklists, training, knowledge transfer, administrative tasks, etc. –
• communicating on the bank's priorities and strategy to the team; selecting, motivating, engaging and supporting teams and individuals
• developing and maintaining a partnership culture, open and proactive communication and escalation of issues within the team as well as promoting a cross-collaboration culture across teams and the wider organization
• creating good team spirit and working environment
• support the Relationship Management team and the Head of Depositary in their interactions with the clients and other key stakeholders

You’ll be reporting to the local Head of Depositary Bank and managing the Depositary Bank Supervision of UBS Europe SE, Luxembourg Branch responsible for the safekeeping, cash flow monitoring, private equity transactions monitoring and recordkeeping activities according to UCITS and AIFMD regulations.

You are dynamic, proactive and ideally possess the following skills:

• minimum 10 years’ experience within the investment fund industry and strong experience and expertise as Depositary manager, notably in the Alternative funds space
• strong analytical, organizational and management skills
• excellent knowledge of operational aspects of the depositary, custody or fund administration activities
• strong understanding of UCITS and AIFMD regulations and market practices
• comfortable working productively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment as well as independently
• analytical and able to articulate issues, formulate and present recommendations
• great communicator, with the ability to interact appropriately at all levels in the organization
• fluent in English; French and/or German are assets
