DEPOT OPERATOR

Freefoam is a leading manufacturer of a wide range of innovative PVC-U and PVC-UE roofline, rainwater and cladding products for the building industry in Ireland, the UK and Mainland Europe.

We want a Depot Operator to join our excellent team at our trade counter located in Dublin. In this position you will work regular hours every week, which are 8.00 am to 4.30 pm from Monday to Friday. No weekend work is involved.

In this hands-on position you will take part in all activities relating to the operation of the depot, to ensure a high level of customer service. You will deal with our Customers, and with your colleagues in other depots and in our main factory. You will take orders from customers, fill them and complete invoicing and paperwork associated with that.

Main Duties

• Customer service and order entry / sales transactions
• Maximising sales potential from the depot, through upselling and generating sales from existing and potential customers along with following up on opportunities.
• Warehousing and stock management
• Stock control within the Depot
• Order deliveries to the depot from the main factory
• Liaise with other company functions, finance, distribution, customer services and quality.

Our ideal candidate will have the following

• Previous customer facing retail / warehouse experience preferably gained with construction related / DIY products
• Strong customer service skills
• Competent IT skills
• Be self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative.
• Hold a full clean driving licence
• Holding a forklift licence is advantageous
• Strong organisation, interpersonal and communication skills, with fluent English
• Eligibility to live and work in the EU

We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic individual with a can do attitude, willing to work regular hours, Monday to Friday, with a fantastic team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €14.15-€15.50 per hour
