Vacancy as Depot Worker / Airside Agent at our Stavanger terminal!

The position reports to the OPS Manager at Stavanger Gateway.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• In a 2-shift arrangement, lead our operation airside in collaboration with Ground Handling Agent (Sola) on arrival and departure of our cargo plane (approximately 25% of working hours)
• In a 2-shift scheme, work as a Depot Worker and participate in all tasks related to terminal operations, including special extended responsibility for the outgoing process on the PM shift (approximately 75% of working hours)
• Follow up that all the department's tasks are performed in accordance with agreed business rules and always for the benefit of the customers
• Serve our customers via various internal IT tools and dispatch our customers who visit us at the reception and by phone
• Perform some ad hoc distribution assignments
• Carry out agreed back office tasks (daily analyzes, reports and improvement measures, etc.)
• Participate in various projects in collaboration with other departments
• Participate and pass all training programs related to the position, including IATA CAT6 Dangerous Goods courses which are mandatory to hold the position as well as all company-internal and required courses (Airside, CIS)
• Support other departments in Norway when needed, Remote or On-site
• The position is operational

Qualities and qualifications:

• Upper secondary school and preferably education / courses in logistics
• Experience from Airside work (airport), possibly terminal / transport and used to dealing with hectic periods as well as good abilities to understand our position in the network
• Being very customer focused is part of your "DNA"
• You must be able to work independently, take the initiative to always support your colleagues and to always be able to contribute to common goal achievement (Teamwork)
• Master the MS Office suite at a good level, as well as have the ability to quickly become familiar with in-house operating systems
• Advantage of approved IATA CAT6 certificate (price must be calculated)
• Must have a class B driver's license and the benefit of a T4 truck driver's license
• Analytical and change-focused and good at delegating work tasks
• Good qualities in managing one's own working hours and problem solving
• Good English skills are an advantage
• For work at the airport, it must be possible to submit a comprehensive police certificate and background check
