Jetfly is a shared business aviation company based in Luxembourg on behalf of 450 co-owners. Our fleet is composed of 60 Pilatus aircraft (PC12 and PC24). The Pilatus has come to exemplify the unique combination of Swiss engineering and dedicated craftsmanship, yielding a superior flight, passenger, and operator experience that is truly beyond comparison. Also, a brand-new aircraft has recently joined our fleet: the Cirrus SF50, the world's first single-engine private jet.
The Ground Operations Manager is seeking a new Deputy to form a strong partnership in promoting Ground Handling across the company. The Deputy Ground Ops will have in-depth knowledge of current ground operational regulations and will be directly responsible for supporting the operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and optimal performance across Jetfly’s network. He/She will report directly to the NPGO.
Role & responsibilities
- Monitor contract management and performance at stations/airports.
- Identify, select, contract, and monitor services of Ground Service Providers and other providers at airports.
- Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with Ground Service Providers and internal departments to ensure compliance with safety, operational, and commercial aspects of the operations.
- Monitor overall performance and propose/take actions to improve ground handling services and on-time performance.
- Carry out administrative tasks such as gathering data, preparing reports, and managing databases.
- Monitor regulatory and industry changes affecting Ground Operations processes and implement necessary changes.
- Liaise with ground support vendors, including Fixed Base Operators (FBOs) and fueling companies, ensuring continuous business development across the Jetfly Group.
- Optimize ground handling procurement costs in alignment with KPIs, market conditions, and available providers.
- Undertake station visits, audits, and training sessions, and follow up on outstanding items within Ground Operations processes.
- Manage and negotiate ongoing contracts for the Jetfly Group.
- Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth.
- Promote ground Ops within the company and act as a driving force to improve feedback from the field
Profile
- A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in aviation, engineering, and/or a proven experience on a similar position.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross functional teams and actions.
- Able to manage complex and multiple data streams (mastering Excel) for the operation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Driven by continuous improvement, result oriented.
- Be capable of working independently as well as in a team.
- Fluent in English, French is a plus.
