Design Manager – Main Contractor – Dublin

They are now seeking an experienced Design Manager to take a key leadership role within their expanding Dublin team.

Role Overview

As Design Manager, you will act as the link between design and delivery, ensuring seamless coordination across all project stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre‑Construction: Lead design deliverables for tenders and identify Value Engineering opportunities
• Coordination: Manage the Design Responsibility Matrix and chair Design Team Meetings
• Technical Leadership: Oversee BIM coordination (BIM 360/Aconex) and ensure full compliance with Irish Building Regulations and BC(A)R
• Site Support: Resolve RFIs, review subcontractor shop drawings and provide technical guidance to site teams

What You’ll Need

• 5+ years’ experience in Design Management or Design Coordination (Main Contractor or Consultancy)
• Experience working in Ireland or the UK
• Background in at least one of: Residential, Commercial or Life Sciences
• Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management
• Strong proficiency in BIM tools (Revit/Navisworks) and document control platforms
