Job Title: Desktop Support (Client Support) Associate
Position Type: 3+ Month Contract
Location: Omaha, NE 68119
Pay Rate: $25–29/hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a Desktop Support (Client Support) Associate to join our client’s IT support team in Omaha, NE. This role involves providing technical assistance to users, resolving desktop and network issues, and ensuring smooth system operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, manage, escalate, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Install and configure software, print drivers, and utilities on workstations and networks.
- Troubleshoot IT-related issues including hardware, software, and networking.
- Monitor installed systems, identify problems, and take corrective action.
- Provide basic technical support to US Foods clients.
- Diagnose and resolve desktop/laptop software problems.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of related work experience or equivalent education.
- 1–3 years of customer service experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of technical support experience.
- Previous experience troubleshooting desktops, printers, and notebooks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
