Beyond26 supports adults with disabilities in finding employment through individualized advocacy and networking. We do this by reaching out to local businesses, finding volunteer opportunities, and growing our community. Our faith-based endeavor reaches a wide range of jobseekers and employers in West Michigan, letting us put our faith to work.

We are excited to add a talented Job Developer to our team. This position will work directly with our jobseekers. A jobseeker is an individual with a disability that comes to Beyond26 to use our services. The job developer will meet with the jobseekers to discuss their goals and job requirements, make connections in the community to find a place of employment, and provide support as the jobseekers start their new jobs. The roles and responsibilities are as follows:

· Meet & Greets with our jobseekers including scheduling.

· Communicate with jobseekers, their families and businesses.

· Connect jobseekers with business that would be supportive and a good fit.

· Make contacts with new and existing businesses that are hiring.

· Support and teach potential employers about the supports jobseekers would benefit from.

· Advocate for jobseekers in interviews and applications.

· Provide job coaching and support when necessary.

Required Skills

· Organization

· Working within a CRM

· Comfortable talking with people to advocate for our jobseekers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
