Job Summary
The Development Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the organization’s fundraising and volunteer management efforts. This position is responsible for coordinating development initiatives, managing donor relations, and assisting with strategic planning to enhance the organization’s outreach and impact. Work closely with the Chief Executive Officer. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for community engagement.
Duties
- Manage and execute fundraising campaigns, including direct mail, email marketing, and digital marketing strategies using platforms such as Constant Contact.
- Assist in proposal writing for grants and funding opportunities to support Lisner'sorganizational goals.
- Plan and organize events that promote the organization’s mission and engage the community.
- Develop strategic plans to enhance fundraising efforts and improve donor relations.
- Maintain accurate records of donations, volunteers, and event participation to ensure effective reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with team members to create compelling marketing materials that communicate Lisner's mission effectively.
- Provides high-quality administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer. Analyze documents, prepare research reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of experience in non-profit fundraising, administration, or related field.
- Proficiency in CRMs (preferably Bloomerang), Microsoft Office, social media, and other tech platforms.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
- Demonstrated passion for serving seniors and a deep commitment to the mission of the Lisner-Louise-Dickson-Hurt Home.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies to enhance outreach efforts is beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to engage with donors, volunteers, and community members effectively.
- A proactive attitude with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
