About the Role
As our Development Operations Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in ensuring Sundale’s technology environment is secure, reliable, scalable and aligned with our Digital Strategy. You will oversee:
- Governance of CI/CD, infrastructure automation and service reliability
- Cloud, on‑prem and hybrid environments with a strong emphasis on AWS
- DevSecOps, observability, incident and problem management
- Leadership of a high-performing technical team (Senior Systems Engineer, APS Manager, Developer)
Your work will ensure Sundale’s internal teams, residents and clients experience seamless, high‑quality digital services.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach and mentor the DevOps team to deliver operational excellence
- Oversee CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions) and AWS deployment workflows
- Govern infrastructure automation and multi-account management using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Ensure cloud, on‑prem and hybrid systems meet reliability, security and recovery expectations
- Guide technical design quality, release governance and engineering best practice
- Drive incident, problem and service request management across applications and infrastructure
- Partner with ICT, Executive, vendors and external experts to execute Sundale’s Digital Strategy
- Maintain AWS security baselines and support DevSecOps frameworks
- Develop procedures, documentation, and operational improvements
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline
- 5+ years’ experience in DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering leadership
- Strong practical AWS knowledge (mandatory)
- Experience in CI/CD governance, infrastructure automation, observability and cyber security
- Vendor/partner management experience
- ITIL, Project Management or security certifications highly regarded
- AWS Certifications desirable (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Professional)
