Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals with disabilities in a home settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities, personal care, and ensuring their overall well-being. This role requires physical assistance, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities
• Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes are communicated to the healthcare team.
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Transporting clients to activities and places such as grocery stores and appointments as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to hygiene standards and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other caregivers and healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
• Administer medications, training provided.

Experience

• Previous experience in caregiving or direct care roles is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with working with individuals who have disabilities or special needs is a plus.
• Ability to assist clients with mobility challenges.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
• A compassionate attitude towards helping others in need is essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
