As a DevOps & Cloud Automation Engineer at Smartbi, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure that supports efficient automation and smooth deployment processes. You’ll collaborate with our development and data teams to ensure stable, secure, and efficient cloud and on-premises environments, enabling advanced analytics and AI solutions for clients across industries like manufacturing, healthcare, and energy.

IN PRACTICE, YOU WILL

Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform to automate provisioning and scaling of cloud resources.
Set up, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration, ensuring efficient and secure deployment pipelines.
Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automating deployment processes and enabling faster and more reliable releases.
Collaborate with software engineers and data teams to establish monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions that keep services running optimally.
Contribute to our cloud strategy, enhancing scalability, cost-efficiency, and resilience of cloud-native solutions.
Apply security best practices to safeguard cloud environments and data.

2+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or automation engineering roles.
Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration, including Docker and Helm.
Proficiency in cloud platforms like Azure or AWS, and infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and a solid understanding of monitoring and logging practices.
A deep commitment to security best practices and familiarity with hardening techniques.
Finnish citizenship or a valid visa/work permit to work in Finland.
Fluency in English; Finnish is a plus.
