JOB SUMMARY: The Supervisor, Line Maintenance oversees the execution of aircraft maintenance. As a leader, the Supervisor Line Maintenance leads and establishes priorities for the team and ensures that it is accomplished with an emphasis on safety, productivity, reliability, and budget.
JOB DUTIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
- Lead team and establish priorities for aircraft maintenance and ensures that it is accomplished with an emphasis on safety, productivity, reliability, and budget.
- Develop people through effective performance management and ongoing feedback focusing on delegation, coaching, growing and developing the team for capacity and growth, managing performance of individuals in executing tasks, and time management
- Ensures efficient and economical performance of the line maintenance functions while on duty.
- Adheres to and enforces company policies and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.
- Become familiar with and follow the requirements of the Repair Station Manual, Federal Aviation Regulations, airworthiness directives, advisory circulars, manufacturers' service bulletins and any other guidelines required to perform assigned work.
- Ensures all scheduled line maintenance work is accomplished in accordance with the plan for the assigned station.
- Reviews all logbook items to ensure discrepancies are corrected and paperwork is completed correctly
- Monitors inspection forms, work orders, and all paperwork as well as inventory to ensure the prompt requisition of materials.
- Checks the accuracy of all log sheets.
- Accurately estimates maintenance delays and advises others of delays.
- Enforces all safety rules and encourages and promotes safety awareness to all assigned personnel.
- Interface effectively with members of management, other departments and co-workers
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (MINIMUM):
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age of 18
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate (License)
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and company procedures
- Must provide training certificates - A320 and B737NG Aircraft
- Must provide own tools as indicated on company tool list
- Language: Read, Write, Speak and understand English. Spanish is a plus
- Data Entry: Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Work, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve technical issues.
- Ability to pass a 10-Year Background investigation
- Ability to obtain Airport Badges with US Customs Seal
- Ability to pass pre-employment/random drug screening
- Ability to pass criminal background check
- Possess clean driving record
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, flexible shifts (24/7 operation)
- Must provide experience and training certificates with resume
- MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 80 HOURS OF CERTIFICATED TRAINING ON: A320 and/or A330 and/or B737 and/or B767
- PREFERRED: Three (3) years recent aircraft maintenance experience on heavy transport aircraft
