At DHL Global Forwarding Denmark, we are currently looking for a department manager for our customs department, called CDZ. You have relevant experience, strong personal skills, and a willingness to contribute and coach.
The physical work location is in Copenhagen S, with monthly visits to our location in Jutland.
In this position you will, among other things:
- Be responsible for the development (products and sales) and management of the department, including the financials as well as the employees
- Customs handling (from A to Z) for our customers, joining and supporting the already experienced team in the day to day-operations
- Communicate and collaborate with many different stakeholders locally and globally
- Apply your in-depth knowledge and experience and develop your expertise further

- Have a background within customs handling – it will be seen as an advantage, if you have completed either the “Tolddiplom-” or “Toldklarerer-”education via Danske Speditører.

Working hours: The position is a full-time position (37 hours excl. lunch)
The compensation package: The base salary is determined by your qualifications and competencies. The position is graded and sit within a predefined payband. Besides the base salary you will have – just to mentioned a few of the benefits - a pension scheme, bonus scheme, 25+5 vacation days per year, and a “Fritvalgskonto” (a “saving account” equal to 9% of your annual salary) paid out in December.
