POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a valued member of our team, our Sonographers play an essential role in continuing to provide the high-quality and patient-centered care that our facility is known for. Sonographers are expected to work within a multi-modality team environment to produce exceptionally high quality images by utilizing some of the latest ultrasound equipment available.
Westney Heights Diagnostic Centre is a busy, well-established diagnostic imaging clinic in Ajax, currently seeking a reliable and motivated Sonographer to join our professional and supportive team.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Fast learner with ability to take instructions and criticism from other technologists and radiologists
- Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations including General, Small Parts, MSK, Vascular, and Obstetrical
- Responsible for care of patients within the department
- Prepares and maintains adequate written reports to document all procedures and test results accordingly
- Previous experience with Philips/Mindray ultrasound machines would be beneficial
- Maintain adequate patient records/notes
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality
EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Over 2 years experience in General, Vascular, ALL levels of OB including NT, MSK, Small Parts ultrasound is preferred
- Registered Ultrasound Technologist in good standing with CMRITO
- Registration with ARDMS and/or Sonography Canada
- Liability Insurance
- Current CPR certificate is an asset
- Certification in Nuchal Translucency/MSK is an asset
ASSESTS (NOT MANDATORY)
- Nuchal Translucency and/or MSK certification
- Experience with Philips or Mindray ultrasound systems
- Current CPR certification
