Dietary Manager- Long Term Care

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Manager to oversee our food service operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food management, with experience in both restaurant and hotel environments. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to train and develop staff while ensuring high standards of food production and service. The Food Service Manager will play a crucial role in creating an enjoyable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily food service operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills in food production and service.
• Collaborate with dietician to create menus that meet customer preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas.
• Address customer feedback promptly to maintain satisfaction and improve service quality.
• Assist in the development of marketing strategies to promote food services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Food Service Manager or similar role in a healthcare facility
• Strong knowledge of food management practices, including safety regulations and quality control.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food production processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,000.00 - $47,800.00 per year
