Introduction:
The role:
Cater Care Group is seeking the services of a detail focused and team-oriented Dietitian to join our Food Team in our Parramatta Head Office on a 6 month fixed term contract.
Reporting to the General Manager Food and supported by our Acting Senior Dietitian, you will be conducting nutritional menu reviews and providing dietetic support across several industries including Aged Care, Retirement Living and Education.
The role will be for a minimum of 2 days per week and is ideal for a recently qualified graduate looking to begin their career within a professional, close-knit and values led team.
Description:
What this role involves:
Working as part of our Corporate Food Team, led by our General Manager Food.
Working with internal stakeholders to complete nutritional menu reviews for Aged Care, Retirement and Boarding School accounts.
Provide nutrition and dietetic support to our Acting Senior Dietitian and General Manager Food including the development of resource material and assisting with our healthy eating programs.
Some regional and interstate travel may be required.
Skills and Experiences:
The ideal candidate will have:
Nutrition and Dietetic Qualifications as recognised by the Dietitians Australia (DA) with APD or provisional APD status.
An understanding of the complex nutritional needs, including special and texture modified diets of Aged Care Vulnerable Persons.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, including group presentation skills.
Personal values in line with Care, Pride and Community.
Experience in the Food Services industry and a valid driver’s license are desirable but not essential.
