As a Digital Ads Manager, you'll manage paid advertising for a portfolio of client accounts, spanning local, national, and international clients across industries from HVAC to hospitality to retail. That means building and running campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Spotify, and Pinterest, and pitching and developing the strategy behind them, with support and oversight from our Digital Marketing Directors.

You'll also work directly with our in-house design, video, and content team on the creative side of your campaigns, briefing and directing the assets your ads run on.

Who We Are

SOS Media Corp is a full-stack digital marketing agency with over 13 years of experience. We specialize in web development, graphic design, video production, photography, and, most importantly, digital advertising.

This is a close-knit team of marketers, including the Directors you'll be working alongside day-to-day, inside a company of 25+ staff. Our office is in TD Tower in downtown Edmonton, connected to the pedway system with easy access to shopping and dining.

We're looking for a PPC & Social Media Ads Manager with a solid, intermediate-to-advanced understanding of PPC advertising, social media ads, and data analytics. This role requires someone who can execute, optimize, and report on paid digital campaigns to drive measurable results for our clients, working under the guidance of our Digital Marketing Directors.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn, Spotify, TikTok, Pinterest, and other platforms for a portfolio of 18-20 client accounts, assigned based on account complexity and hours required.
  • Pitch and develop ad strategy for your accounts, with oversight and support from our Digital Marketing Directors.
  • Execute Google Search, Display, PMAX, Shopping, and Video ad campaigns with clear objectives.
  • Execute paid social campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, Spotify, TikTok, and Pinterest, from setup and audience targeting through optimization.
  • Manage client ad budgets to maximize ROI within approved strategies.
  • Implement audience targeting strategies using Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other PPC platforms.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and adjust strategies for optimal conversion rates.
  • Provide monthly performance reports with insights, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay current on ad platform updates, trends, and best practices to keep campaigns competitive.
  • Implement tracking and conversion pixels using Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics (GA4), and Meta Pixel.
  • Assign and direct ad creative with our in-house design, video, and content team, leading the creative direction rather than just receiving finished assets.
  • Use AI tools to support tasks like ad copy drafting, performance reporting, and creative variations, as one of several tools that help you work more efficiently.
  • Communicate directly with clients to present campaign results, insights, and recommendations.
  • Work with tools including Basecamp, Zoho, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Opteo, CallRail, and Microsoft Clarity, plus access to stock imagery and video libraries, with openness to new tools as the industry evolves.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in paid media advertising, with hands-on experience managing PPC and social media campaigns.
  • Willingness to obtain Google Ads Certifications (Search, Display, Video) within your first 3 months, required for our Google Partner status. Certification not required at time of application.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and Data Studio.
  • Solid experience with Google Search, Display & PMAX Ads, and Meta Lead Generation Ads.
  • Meta Business Manager/Suite proficiency for managing paid social campaigns.
  • Familiarity with Spotify Ads and TikTok Ads Manager.
  • Experience with conversion tracking and data attribution across multiple platforms.
  • Intermediate-advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for data analysis, budget management, and reporting.
  • Ability to execute full-funnel marketing strategies based on client objectives (lead generation, brand awareness, e-commerce sales, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong writing skills for creating compelling ad copy and CTA-driven messaging.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to juggle multiple campaigns for various clients.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing multiple accounts and shifting priorities at a fast pace.
  • Design skills (e.g., Canva) are not required, but considered an asset.

Compensation & Growth

CA$60,000.00–CA$65,000.00 per year, plus performance-based bonuses

Beyond base salary, this role includes a bonus structure, rewarding you directly for the growth and performance you drive, not just tenure. Growth here is largely in your hands: as the accounts you manage grow, so does your earning potential. Full details are discussed at the offer stage.
