About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that provides guidance and support across Curtin University to achieve digital engagement and platform objectives. The Engagement and Student Experience team oversee various digital platforms for current students and handle the creation, distribution, and improvement of digital engagement content across both third-party and Curtin-owned channels.

As the Digital Analyst you will support the Manager, Analytics and Insights with collating and analysing data from a range of platforms, as well as developing insights and recommendations with the aim of improving digital student journey and experience.

Focused on understanding the digital student experience, you will be working closely with the User Experience team and student engagement teams across Curtin

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintain and configure digital analytics tools and processes, primarily Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, to support marketing, digital engagement, and service optimisation.
• Collaborate with user experience and student engagement stakeholders on analytics strategy development, measurement frameworks, and data interpretation to inform decision-making.
• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards to assess key goals and KPI’s.
• Conduct training of Google Analytics, Google Looker Studio and other analytics platforms for the Student Life and Community portfolio to enable self-serve reporting and analysis.
• Assist other teams with the planning, setup, documentation and deployment of media tracking, link clicks and goal conversions across campaigns and digital platforms, where needed.
• Maintain datasets and be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of data.
• Ensure data capture framework and data integrity procedures are in-place across omni-channel user touch points.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders as a digital analytics subject matter expert to discover insights and share with the Analytics and Insights team.

We are looking for:

• Highly experienced in web analytics tools - Google Analytics (GA4 preferred).
• Highly experienced in Tag Management Solution (Google Tag Manager preferred).
• Experience implementing and drawing data from data warehouses (Big Query preferred) (desired).
• Experience delivering and continually improving reporting dashboards using visualisation tools such as Google Looker Studio, PowerBI.
• Ability to translate requirements from key stakeholders into technical requirements and solution design.
• Ability to prioritise and manage workloads to meet deadlines.
• Experience in the tertiary education sector or large complex organisation (desired).
