Digital Arts/Animation Instructor For Youth Virtual Classes

Job Description:
We are seeking another creative and passionate Digital Arts and Animation instructor to teach online classes. These classes are for age ranges between 7-17. Teaching credentials are preferred but are not required. A fun, patient, encouraging person who has good classroom management skills is a must.

Our Organization has taught 3,810 students as of 12/24

** Candidates MUST be from either the 50 United States, Mexico, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, and the United Kingdom (note that U.S. territories do not apply at this time).

All educators will be Background checked by the platform prior to teaching classes. No prior felonies are allowed.

*A Mini Mock Class Video is required:

Please record a mini mock class in the area that you will be teaching and be sure to fully capture your teaching methodology as well as an accurate portrayal of what our learners can expect. This acts as your interview. You will create your lesson how YOU like to teach the class. Whatever system works for you.

Time commitment:

• You will choose your hours on Weekdays and/or Weekends.
• I would like to reach multiple time zones.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

• Create your lesson plan/syllabus to fit your teaching style. Our teachers prefer this over using our plans. We will give the parameters of the Course layout for you to edit.
• With the potential to teach as many hours as you want. You can choose days/hours.
• There are usually between 3-6 kids per class, but there may be classes you teach to just 1. Enrollment fluctuates.

ABOUT COMPENSATION:

Job Type: Work as many hours as you wish!

Pay: Hourly $12.00 to $24.00 USD

• Pay weekly. You will submit your Invoices via Invoice Ninja.
• Pay schedule is based on hours taught plus students per class.
• We give pay increases based on higher student enrollment
• 1-2 Learners: $12/hr.
• 3-4 Learners: $15/hr.
• 5+ Learners: $24/hr.

You do not need a paid subscription to Zoom, as the platform offers unlimited Zoom time.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience and a passion for teaching what you are applying for.
• You can organize your lesson plan to fit into a scheduled time-frame and are flexible to adjust it depending on student needs, if necessary.
• Patience and kindness are a must!
• Must be fully inclusive and respect all nationalities, races and genders.
• Strong classroom management skills is a must, handling different personalities and student needs.

In addition, the following is preferred:

• Training in college or other classes
• Teaching credentials would be helpful but not required

This job would NOT be a good fit for you if:

• You want your own business teaching the same courses online, as the non-compete contract would prevent that. If, however, you teach in person in your local area, that would be just fine.
• If you run low on patience, then this job would not be a good fit. Most of our students are well-behaved, but they are kids, so patience is a must.
• If you are looking for a short-term gig, please do not apply.

• You are an encourager and have a heart for cheering students on
• Patient and kind with children
• Must love kids!
• Familiar with zoom meetings
• Ability to show your work area clearly via external doc camera or equivalent.
• You are upbeat
• Making learning fun is one of your specialties
• You are responsible and consistently show up on time (or early!)
