Digital Marketing and Events Administrator - IOM
GP Strategies Training Ltd is delighted to be supporting IOM with a fantastic opportunity to join their Operations Support function.
We are looking to hear from candidates who have a genuine passion for promoting the business externally by utilising social media and digital campaigns alongside planning and promoting events that IOM will attend/host.
As well as receiving continued training and mentoring by the company, the successful candidate will undertake a Modern Apprenticeship in Digital Marketing where you will receive an Industry recognised qualification. You will be supported throughout your apprentice journey by a dedicated GP Strategies Assessor.

IOM was founded as a research charity in 1969 and has been at the forefront of scientific research to understand and mitigate a range of occupational and environmental health risks. These include coal dust, asbestos, carbon nanotubes and air pollution.

Main Duties
The main focus of the role is to provide promote online the work IOM is carrying out and explore new opportunities for IOM to pursue. The role offers a wide variety of responsibilities giving a great opportunity to develop and gain invaluable experience.
The role includes (but not limited to);
- Coordinate and assist with planning and attendance of business events and represent IOM
- Plan, post and analyse Social Media post
- Create and run digital campaigns to promote IOM online
- Maintain the IOM website
- Conduct market research to allow IOM to explore new opportunities
- Maintain databases
Requirements
To be successful in your application, the successful candidate will have;
- Effective communication ability
- Inquisitive
- An attention to detail
- Be conversant with the Microsoft Office package
Although not required, it could be advantageous if any applicants have a Marketing qualification.

Pay: £18,525.00 per year
