Job Family Definition:

Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams. Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers’ business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers’ businesses. As trusted advisor create and maintain effective customer relationships so as to insure customer satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of leading edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge. Actively contribute to the company’s solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects. Shape technical direction and technical strategies within the organization and for external customers. Accountable for consistent and significant chargeability levels (or expense relief for internal project teams) and for assisting in meeting or exceeding revenue and customer satisfaction goals. Contribute to organization’s profitability by generating and cultivating new business opportunities and by providing technical support for deal proposal development.

Management Level Definition:

Contributions include applying intermediate level of subject matter expertise to solve common technical problems. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and recommendations for appropriate action. Works independently within an established framework and with moderate supervision.

What you’ll do:

Responsibilities:

• Interact with sales/pursuit team in country and work with them to understand the customer requirements and create quotes etc.
• Identify the technological solutions needed to fulfill the business objectives of the customer and be able to interact with people (customer and internal HPE) at all levels and geographies
• Work in collaboration with sales to develop pricing quotes and SoW for in-pursuit deals
• As Solution Architect with country Pursuit Team and develop end-to-end solutions for managed services delivery to exempted customers
• Identify and contribute to projects to improve services, customer satisfaction, profitability, and team efficiency.
• Technical writing skills will be required to publish required documents.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and have an ability to drive the conversation/discussion.
• Possess a strong customer focus with the ability to manage escalations, balancing the needs of the customer, the HPE teams (Sales/ Pursuit/ Delivery)

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge on servers, storage systems, Networking and Datacenter.
• Create solution proposals, pricing, and presentations.
• Co-ordinate, support and communicate with other teams for adding, modifying, or removing the environments and deliverables.
• Translate a customer RFP into a requirements document and proposal
• Be able to do multitask and must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with solid written and verbal communication skills.

• Must have deep understanding of Datacenter and Operation Services business in HPE Pointnext.
• Must be a team player and show ability and willingness to motivate and support other engineers

Essential Skills

• Basic knowledge on servers, storage systems, Networking and Datacenter.
• Need technical knowledge to work on Excel such as VLOOKUP, Pivot table, Macros Etc.
• Need basic knowledge on pricing tools.
• Should have capability to handle pressure during Peak times.

Customer handling skills

• Demonstrate a high level of technical & account management communication skills and expertise in communicating with customers & internal organization.
• Manage the solution process with high management attention in a complex environment.
• Take responsibility of solutioning to meet customer requirements and ensuring end-to-end deal ownership.
• Lead high level cross organizational customer orientated projects.

What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

• 3 - 5 years of technical experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, two additional years of relevant professional experience (5-7 years in total).

Knowledge and Skills:

• Educational Qualification – Bachelor/Master’s degree (either in STEM or in Humanities/Commerce with equivalent technical certification) along with relevant experience.
• Technical knowledge (must have): Computer/Server Hardware, Storage, Datacenter, Operating System etc.
• Technical knowledge (good to have, at least one or two): Networking, Virtualization, Cloud, Containers, or other emerging technologies.
• Proficiency in working knowledge of MS office.
• Language: English (Fluent – Written & Spoken)
