Position Summary:

The Digital Technician is responsible for assisting the development of digital output pressure and temperature transducers and transmitters. The Digital Technician takes direction from engineering and the Digital Supervisor to assist in the development and implementation of digital protocols. This person takes on responsibilities such as testing new and existing digital units. The Digital Technician is responsible for calibration.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out testing procedures.
• Collect data and input data into Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
• Read literature including data sheets, manuals, work instructions, and procedures.
• Calibrate units.
• Record data for calibration documentation.

Job Requirements:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED. AAS Degree is a plus.

SKILLS AND KNOWEDGE:

• Ability to comprehend mechanical/electrical drawings
• Electronics, including an understanding of basics electronic concepts
• Basic soldering skills including surface mount and through hole soldering techniques.
• Electronic Assembly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
