Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CNA/ HHA to join our home car team. As a CNA/HHA, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and support to our consumers. Available Schedule:

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Monday- Friday (8:00AM-6:00PM)

Duties:

- Male Total Care
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with physical examinations and medical procedures under the supervision of healthcare professionals
- Provide basic wound care and assist with sterile processing as needed
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist in the transfer and transportation of patients within the home
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must pass a Level 2 Background Screening & Local Law
• 2 years of employment reference and 3 personal references
• 1st AIDE/CPR
• Medication Administration
• Experience with working with special needs
• Required Training:

Zero Tolerance, HIPPA, HIV/AIDS, Direct Care Core Competencies, Electronic EMR Within 30 days of employment

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

- Proven experience as a CNA or similar role

-Proven Experience working with people with a intellectual disability
- Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and basic healthcare procedures
- Familiarity home care, assisted living, or other healthcare settings is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Compassionate and empathetic nature towards patients
- Ability to work well in a team environment
