L'Arche Cleveland, a vibrant and inclusive community dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities, is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals(DSP) to join our team. As a DSP, you will play a crucial role in providing companionship, support, and assistance to individuals with intellectual disabilities (Core Members), fostering an environment of respect, acceptance, and personal growth.
**Responsibilities:**
- Engage in meaningful conversations and activities, promoting social connections and emotional well-being for Core Members.
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Support individuals in managing their daily routines, including medication and household chores.
- Foster a sense of belonging and community by actively participating in events and celebrations.
- Maintain accurate records of the Core Members' activities, progress, and incidents as per organizational guidelines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
