Direct Support Professional

### Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in providing support and care to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. ### Duties: - Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration - Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals - Implement individualized care plans and behavior support plans - Assist with community integration and participation in recreational activities - Document individual progress and report any concerns or changes in behavior to supervisors - Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care ### Qualifications: - Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality - Familiarity with dementia care is a plus - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - First aid certification is desirable If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and possess the necessary qualifications, we encourage you to apply for this fulfilling position.
