Sodexo Corporate Services Division is seeking a Director of Facilities for a Life Science Manufacturer located in Eugene, OR, with experience managing total integrated facilities. This position manages hard and soft services, landscaping, grounds, predictive and preventative maintenance and property infrastructure using skilled trades. The Facilities Director will be responsible for managing the hiring, training, and supervision of staff and must have strong financial acumen.
The Eugene, OR site, nestled in the heart of the Willamette Valle, is one of our premier manufacturing and innovation hubs. The facility specializes in the production of advanced reagents, antibodies, and fluorescent dyes used in life sciences research and diagnostics worldwide.
- Directs preventative maintenance proactive & reactive repair maintenance issues using skilled trades
- Directs grounds, landscape, and maintenance operations to ensure a safe and attractive environment
- Oversees maintenance of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and utility systems supporting labs, manufacturing, property infrastructure cleaning, e.g., building, roofing, parking lot
- Acts as a liaison between the client and regulatory agencies and/or authorities including building code compliance
Develop and manage operating and capital budgets, driving cost and resource efficiencies, which may include energy savings program.
Partner with EHS to uphold safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.
Direct vendor relationships and ensure quality service delivery.
Advance sustainability programs for energy efficiency and environmental stewardship.
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing facilities and maintenance team.

5+ years of facilities leadership experience in a biotech, pharmaceutical, or advanced manufacturing environment.
Proven track record managing multi-building or campus-style facilities, ideally within a regulated (ISO, GMP) setting.
Strong project management and capital planning experience.
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy management strategies
