As Director for Core Technologies within BA Technology, you will be responsible for defining, developing, harmonizing and advancing the strategic core technology platforms that underpin our global business.

You will align technology strategy with business objectives, foster innovation and ensure synergies across the Business Units. By driving excellence in core areas such as power technologies, automation, IoT & Connectivity and processes, you will help position BA Technology as a true strategic asset.

Your responsibilities include:

• Development and execution of the BA-wide core technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall strategy
• Driving synergies in core technologies across the BU’s, avoiding duplication and enabling scalability.
• Leading technology initiatives in power technologies, energy storage, automation, IoT & Connectivity, Core of Lifting and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Ensuring technical compliance and governance across technology platforms and tools.
• Driving innovation and fostering collaboration with R & D and external partners.
• Monitoring technology trends and assessing their impact on business growth and competitiveness
• Smooth and active communication with intra-BA and cross-BA stakeholders

What is needed to succeed in this role:

• A degree in technical, technology or commerce related field and / or strong background as equivalent
• Proven leadership experience in technology management across multiple business areas
• Strong organizational, strategic and interpersonal skills
• Capability to manage strategic and operational tasks with sound business acumen
• Diverse and global mindset, with willingness to travel internationally
• Strategic Vision and Technical Expertise: deep understanding of power systems, industrial automation, digitalization and emerging technology platforms.
• Industry Insight: Familiarity with large-scale manufacturing, heavy equipment or industrial technology environments is an advantage
• Customer-Centric Approach: Ability to understand business and customer needs and translate them into effective scalable technology solutions
• Leadership and Team Building: Proficiency in team management, including building and leading a cross-functional and global team.
• Governance and Compliance Orientation: Strong ability to ensure adherence to standards, processes and regulations while balancing innovation and efficiency
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (spoken and written), as it will be the primary language for communication
