1 ‑ Full Time – Director, Strategy and Performance
Strategy and Performance Management
Reporting to the Vice President, Strategy & Regional Transformation, the Director, Strategy and Performance
provides leadership support for the development, execution, and monitoring of the hospital's strategic and
performance plans. This role provides strategic leadership to drive the advancement of our strategic plan and to
ensure alignment of corporate planning processes to achieve results.
As a progressive and forward‑thinking leader, the Director excels at turning vision and values into clear strategies,
actionable goals, and accountable performance. This includes developing and embedding effective processes,
supporting team and leadership development, and fostering a results‑driven, patient and family‑centred culture.
The Director will lead a high‑performing team of Performance Improvement Consultants focused on strategy,
performance, and change management. This position will also cultivate strong working partnerships with internal
leadership across functional and discipline boundaries and with other external strategic colleagues on planning and
performance related activities.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:
* Master's Degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
* Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is required.
* Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in strategic planning, performance management, or
health system transformation within a healthcare setting.
Skills/Abilities:
* Demonstrated knowledge of Ontario's healthcare system, including funding models, health equity, and integrated
care strategies.
* Experience with performance measurement tools, strategy execution methodologies, and organizational planning
processes.
* Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and build partnerships across departments and organizations.
* Proven ability to lead organizational change and drive results.
* Results‑oriented and client‑focused with a commitment to excellence.
* Exceptional facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Assets:
* Certification in change management.
* Certified Health Executive (CHE) designation.
Salary Range: $69.194 to 81.403
