What you’ll be doing:
The role is responsible for
  • Leadership of the ICT function to deliver a modern, customer centric service for members, from in-field operations to support for strategic decision making within the RFS State Headquarters and state wide.
  • Delivery of an integrated ICT environment that supports organisational priorities and business requirements and delivers the RFS ICT strategy.
  • Engagement and communication with key stakeholders including the RFS Executive, vendor partners and other Government agencies to strategically position ICT to deliver effectively for members and the organisation.

Ideal Candidate
As our ideal candidate, you will bring extensive experience in IT communication and a proven track record of leadership.
To be eligible for consideration you must have:
  • Significant experience at a senior level in managing, developing, implementing and supporting ICT strategies and systems in a geographically dispersed organisation with critical ICT requirements
  • Sound understanding of the NSW government financial and procurement frameworks and well-developed project management skills
  • Appropriate Business and Technology tertiary qualifications and/or substantial experience in enterprise level technology operational environments at the senior level
