We are seeking a talented Director, Investor Relations to manage the dialogue between Kalmar and analysts, investors, and other stakeholders of the financial community, supporting Kalmar’s journey as a listed company. This role also involves producing and developing financial communications and reporting, as well as organising investor events and building proactive, trusted relationships with capital markets in compliance with the regulation for listed companies.

This is a temporary position on a limited contract, covering parental leave until the end of 2026, with a potential for prolongation.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Contribute to the creation of a compelling investor relations strategy, framework, and roadmap.
  • Build and manage a strong reputation by ensuring consistent and clear communication and networking between internal and external parties.
  • Serve as the primary contact for investors, analysts, and stakeholders, managing all communications, preparing financial reports and presentations for meetings and earnings calls, and addressing inquiries to provide updates on company performance and strategy.
  • Assist in financial analysis and reporting, including monitoring key financial metrics, conducting industry research, and preparing presentations for investor meetings and conferences.
  • Stay informed about relevant regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with disclosure obligations, such as filing financial reports and other disclosures with regulatory authorities.
  • Prepare and coordinate financial disclosures, including interim reports, stock exchange releases, and investor presentations.
  • Organize and participate in investor events such as site visits and Capital Market Days, including delivering presentations and leading meetings.
  • Manage investor communications, efficiently responding to inquiries and requests.
  • Develop various investor materials, including videos and other content.
  • Generate reports for management and the board, and maintain the investor database.

What you’ll need to succeed

Education:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or an equivalent degree in Communications and/or Marketing.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of work experience in Financial Communications, Investor Relations, or the Finance field.
  • Preferably experience from a B2B business and/or the industrial sector.
  • Familiar with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors.
  • Experience in preparing interim and annual reports.

Competencies:

  • Strong communication and social skills to develop and maintain close business relations with partners.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of capital markets and disclosure requirements.
  • Good understanding of financial figures and IR-related regulations.
  • Fluency in written and verbal Finnish and English.
  • Swedish is considered an advantage.

Other:

  • Flexibility to work outside of office hours and ability to occasionally travel internationally.
  • Preferred location: Helsinki, Finland
