Director, Modernization Transformation & Growth

We are now looking for a Director, Modernization Transformation & Growth to join our Modernization Transformation Office.

Role Overview:

As the Director, Modernization Transformation & Growth you'll play a pivotal role in driving and coordinating all activities to effectively manage a portfolio of investments, programs, projects, and other initiatives within the assigned portfolio and Modernization operating model development.

This role offers flexible placement across any of our major European offices. You’re welcome to work in a hybrid-model, depending on location and team needs.

You will report to the SVP, Modernization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Chief of Staff of Transformation Office
• Maximizing business value by aligning the portfolio with organization’s strategic direction, making the best use of limited resources, and building synergies across KONE-wide
• Collaborating closely with business stakeholders and execution functions to secure business outcomes applying lean portfolio management mindset
• Ensuring globally harmonized governance of the portfolio and continuously developing required practices to increase transparency, agility, and compliance
• Facilitating strategy development
• Building the change story with strong transformation narrative
• Developing and deploy frontline level transformation readiness assessment in collaboration with Strategy team, Modernization business line, KTI, Finance and Areas
• Facilitating cross-business line strategy development and deployment in close collaboration with other business lines

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in corporate strategy or constituting functions is seen as an advantage
• Master’s (MSc) degree in a relevant field
• Demonstrated expertise in Portfolio Management , Project Management , Requirements Management , Business Case Management , Change Management , and adoption of lean & agile methodologies
• Proven track record of driving change and creating influence in a matrix, global organization
• Strong analytical & communication skills
• Strategic mindset & ability to build a vision
