Our Standale, Michigan Christian childcare center has an immediate opening for a full-time, experienced Director. Please submit a cover letter detailing your State of Michigan licensing qualifications to be considered for this position. Qualified applicants must be able to meet all licensing requirements as set forth by the State of Michigan regarding child-care for school-age children ages 3-12. Applicants must be able to engage in daily, direct interaction with school-age children and adult staff as well as having administrative management skills. We are a well-established, faith-based, program of before, during and after-school care and also offer full summer programming.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the childcare center, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Develop and implement programs that align with the center's mission and values.
- Manage staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
- Work cooperatively with church staff in a shared facility.
- Utilize administration skills to maintain compliance with regulations and standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
